How It Works
Vaping heats a nicotine liquid and turns it into a mist. This vapor is what is inhaled simulating the sensation of smoking.
THERE ARE 3 MAIN COMPONENTS TO AN ELECTRONIC VAPOR DEVICE
Rechargeable lithium ion batteries are the power supply needed to vaporize our e-liquid. The size of the battery determines the amount of vapor produced and how long a battery will last before needing to be recharged. The most important things to consider when choosing a battery are output (volts) and capacity (mAH).
There are two different kinds of heating elements that turn e-liquids into vapor. Atomizers and cartomizers have the same function but work in a slightly different way. Cartomizers are one-piece units consisting of a heating element surrounded by batting that soaks up the liquid to be vaporized. Atomizers are made up of a mesh heating element without batting and require a liquid-filled cartridge to drip liquid directly on the mesh.
E-juice is a mixture of nicotine, flavor and diluents.
Our nicotine comes from an FDA approved lab called Alchem International. We are proud to be using NicSelect and it is tested to be 99.2 – 99.6% pure nicotine.
Because the nicotine is extremely pure there are no residual tobacco flavors. In order to have an e-liquid with great taste, flavors must be added. We use food grade flavorings that can be combined to produce an infinite number great flavor combinations.
Our third main ingredient dilutes the nicotine and provides the vapor to transports the nicotine and flavor to the user. The diluents we use are:
Propylene Glycol (PG) – Propylene glycol is a colorless, odorless liquid which is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), for use as a direct food additive under the conditions prescribed. It is approved by the U.S. FDA for certain indirect food additive uses.2 PG is used as an excipient (inert solvent or carrier) in pharmaceuticals.
Vegetable Glycerin (VG) – Vegetable Glycerin is a clear white viscous liquid that is produced from select vegetable feed stocks and refined. It is a common food and pharmaceutical additive and meets USP specifications and is produced in a FDA registered facility.
